Can a man walk on hot coals without his feet being scorched? Proverbs 6:28. This reading means that we cannot do stupid things without being punished. You need to be responsible for the things we do. There are consequences for everything you do, and we should beware of our actions. This week I will try hard to be in control of my actions. I will make sure to think about them before I do them.
This week I was feeling very lazy and did not want to study for my tests, but I thought about it and decided if I did not learn the material, I would get a bad grade on my test. If I had not studied it would have been like I had walked on the hot coals, and I'm sure it would have turned out bad.
